Mosaic Restoration for Private Clients and Institutions
We carry out restoration and conservation work on behalf of Cultural Heritage Authorities at archaeological sites, museums, and monumental complexes, as well as in private residences, operating in full respect of traditional techniques and conservation principles.
Our interventions involve floor, wall, and panel mosaics, as well as historic pavements of ancient tradition — such as Venetian floors, terrazzo alla veneziana, cocciopesto, and Palladian floors — and highly crafted objects including jewelry, brooches, snuffboxes, and Roman spun micro-mosaic artworks.
We work on supports made of precious metals such as gold and silver, as well as bases in marble, hardstones, and glass paste. We adopt methodologies aimed at safeguarding the artwork, ensuring structural stability, and restoring its original aesthetic integrity, with particular attention to the reversibility of interventions and long-term durability.
